This is probably the biggest one yet for Hairball Charters this season, and I’m always after the trophy striped bass on my Cape Cod charter sport fishing boat. Jack and Jason Norris are long time customers and we had a great couple of days fishing off Monomoy and Martha’s Vineyard.

Fishing for trophy sized bass can be a great way to spend your summer if you’re reeling in fish on my charter boat. We specialize in family sportfishing. Our location is only 2 hours from New Hampshire. It is worth the the drive to catch qualty stripers. I personally guarantee that every one aboard will bring in a keeper striped bass . On this fishing charter Teresa Lambert and her daughter caught this 40 incher and had a fantastic day together. So don’t let the year pass without spending time together on the ocean.

Tim and his crew from Shrewsbury after a great day on Cape Cod Waters

Our Cape Cod charter fishing trip for striped bass had to work hard today and covered a lot of miles in search of the fish but we finally found them just a couple miles off my home port of Falmouth Harbor. We really got into the striped bass and picked off six keepers in no time flat jigging with Hairball jigs. Hairball Charters always find those great striped bass.

No better time to schedule a spring cape Cod fishing charter for striped bass off Falmouth

Yesterday  a husband and wife team from New Hampshire spent the day on my Cape Cod fishing charter, Hairball Charters, and we caught over 30 fish, including three over 40 inches! The south side of Cape Cod is alive with big striped bass. The striped bass migration has reached Cape Cod big time. Give me a call to schedule a trip this summer while I still have some open slots. 617-755-1847

My buddy Ethan Gordon did a photo shoot a last summer  and the picture wound up on the cover of  Saltwater Sportsman. The real star of course is that big striped bass! Be sure to check out the issue for those great Tried and True striper tactics. And give me a call to get out striper fishing this spring. There’s no better time than now.  Give me a call at 617-755-1847.

Can you name these New England Patriots? They fish with Hairball Charters.

May is the start of the season, and I can’t tell you how exciting it is to get out on the water in the crisp spring air and find those big striped bass that have arrived from down south for their big migration to New England waters. The striped bass are big, and they are hungry. This is very exciting fishing, and May books up fast. Sometimes I have a few ball players from the New England Patriots out on the water too. To read more about May conditions, check out the “seasons” section of this site.  Call 617-755-1847 to book your 2010 charter today.

A trip to Monomy for striped bass pays off big time

One day last summer, one of my best clients,  John Clancy, brought his family for an afternoon trip. I’d heard the fishing off Monomoy, over by Chatham, was really hot, so we shot across 25 miles of water to get there only to find a slack tide. I put the kids ashore to blow off some steam til the tide came around,  and  by 5:00 pm the tide had turned and these patent angler’s were doubling up every pass with 40 inch trophy sized striped bass.
