Brisa Hurlock and friends with her 52 inch striped bass
Yesterday Brisa Hurlock and her friends Bob Brennan and Mark McHugh had a great day fishing with me off Martha’s Vineyard. This striped bass may be the biggest of the summer for Hairball charters. Great job, Brisa.
Maybe Hairball’s best striped bass of the season
Brian and Bill White really had to struggle to hold up this monster striped bass that Bill caught while chunking off Martha’s Vineyard’s Squibnocket in early July. Ned Desmond from GoFISHn was along on the trip and took this picture. Ned also caught a monster, not quite as long but a lot fatter. The waters of Vineyard Sound are arguably the best striped bass fishing in the world, and sport fishing from a chart boat is the ideal way to go after them. My boat leaves from Falmouth Harbor, which is just a little more than an hour south of Boston, and I like to fish with all age and skill levels. Family trips are my favorite, and I have three youngsters of my own. So give me a call and let’s go fishing.
