Striper fishing Is a great way to get together with friends. In this picture Russ holds up two nice fish in the 36 inch range. With charter fishing you can not always catch fish in the 30 pound range. On this particular day everyone had a pair of great eating striped bass. I really enjoy bring people who just love being out on the water regardless of the size of the catch. These guys are back again this year looking forward to Charter fishing out of Falmouth Harbor. We will do our best in finding trophy Striped bass for this crew this spring.

Getting prepared for Bottom Fishing for Cod and Hadock this Spring.

Work on the charter boats is taking most of my time up. With the bottom of my striped bass 27′ center console ready to put back on the trailer. The stripers should be early this year with all the warm weather this winter. Sent my payment in the the harbormaster this morning, holding my prime spot in Falmouth Harbor. The south western part of Cape Cod is fantastic for sport fishing, with Many different Species of fish ranging from Black sea bass and Fluke to huge trophy sized bass just minutes from the break water.

Ice fishing while waiting for the stripers to return
I first saw the long range forecast on Monday they were calling for forty five on Friday so I informed my wife that the kids and I would be headed out on the ice if the forecast holds. The day turned out incredible with twenty plus flags and over a dozen largemouth bass with two nice perch. My daughter Lily caught plenty, with my son Eric catching the big boy of the day of over 3 1/2 pounds. At lunch I call my wife Tasha and she brought lunch with my youngest daughter Ava. Sure happy I took the time to go fishing with my kids today. We all need to take breaks to remember what life is all about.

October striped bass off Cape Cod are better than ever!
Cape Cod striper fishing still hanging in there with water temps in the high sixties today. Today everyone managed a twenty pounder and we caught one over thirty. This fisherman traveled all the way from Toronto! Give me a call and let’s get fishing this fall!!
